than 7,000 executives from a variety of Fortune 500 companies
and professional services firms. We have certified coaches around
the world, including many who are licensed psychologists, many
who are active or retired professors, and many who are retired
executives with extensive real-world business experience. In every

Investment Banking
A Dutch investment bank's corporate finance team asked for Lore's
help in developing the leadership and interaction competencies
of personnel within their rapidly growing department. The goal
of the initiative was to accelerate the capability of the department
to act as a high-performing team and as individual leaders in
service to larger, more sophisticated and demanding clients, at
the next tier of M&A advice and financing. Lore structured
the initiative to emphasize leadership, client team focus, and
multidirectional coaching. Client senior management has expanded
the initiative to additional departments and has increased the
coaching component to strengthen the executive leadership team.
IT Consulting
When Gartner Group wanted to help its senior executives make improvements
that would impact the overall organization, they partnered with
Lore. Lore worked closely with Gartner's CEO, COO, human resources
director, and other senior executives to design this project.
Gartner Group wanted to thoroughly evaluate its leaders and reengineer
its system for evaluating the performance of Gartner professionals.
By working collaboratively across both organizations, Gartner
Group was able to improve its performance appraisal process. Lore
also coached more than 50 leaders at Gartner to better serve their
teams, their business divisions, and their clients. Lore worked
with each leader individually to implement tangible action plans
for improvement.
Consulting
Over the past 10 years, Lore has worked with a top-five global
consulting firm in several areas of professional development.
One of Lore's initiatives was to improve the leadership and interpersonal
skills of all members of the organization in select offices. Each
individual was asked to complete various assessments to help identify
areas of skill deficiencies. Working closely with a Lore coach,
a personal development plan was created and executed with the
support of the coach. Additional coaching was determined on a
case-by-case basis, lasting as little as two months and up to
two years. In addition to the individual attention each coachee
enjoyed, Lore produced a group aggregate report based on the assessment
results. With these results, the firm had a holistic view of the
developmental needs of their resources.
