Observations of Type Preference

How do your coworkers, supervisors, clients, friends, and family members see you? If you have taken the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI), you understand your preferences and how they affect your interactions with others.

Observations of Type Preference (OTP) is an instrument developed to complement the MBTI®. The MBTI® is an indicator of your actual preferences; the OTP is an indicator of the preferences that others observe. The observers complete a questionnaire, which Lore International Institute uses to produce a personalized report.

Lore also offers a specific program, It Takes All Types, for exploring type preferences and their impact on effective interactions at work.

Report Contents:

  • Which of the 16 MBTI® types you are thought to be

  • How each respondent perceives you

  • Implications for interpersonal communication and interaction
